ALDA TEIXEIRA
"Tripeira" (nick name gave to whom who is born in Oporto City) for real, living in Mealhada for 25 years, has in her “knowledge pack” the whole Portugal we can visit. Some exits of the country let her to visit some zones of France, England, Ireland, Italy and Egypt.
Her 55 years old heart still vibrates, like the one of a young girl, whenever a new itinerary is proposed or a new cultural proposal is shown. She hates pre-shaped itineraries. Must be her self to decide where to go, in what road to go, how to go, with whom she wants to contact
She loves mathematics and that makes her different of the common mortals, but, two plus two makes four, and so she wants to confirm that she is right on being able to reach Dakar driving the 1973 Toyota.

VICTOR MONIZ
Born traveler just forty years ago, long time buddy of Luís Gamelas, challenge him for a travel project, this time with some aspects of pure adventure.
Victor is counting on him to run, one more time, the hot African sands in way to reach the Lake Rose in Dakar – Senegal.
It will be the up-dating of a large knowledge on “survival techniques” learned on tracks that have send him to 52 countries. Is the deal with different cultures and, just by that, respectable.
The lead idea is the will of being side by side with the caravan of the Lisbon – Dakar rally, where it is possible, but not being part of it. Feeling for real the hardness of an exigent driving course.

PEDRO CAMPOS
33 years old, takes the wheel of life on “putting wheels” on other people’s life.
On karting and on motorcycling had “wheels and nails”. He already moved lots of mud away in “jeep” trial. He already made lots of black point on legs (his and adversaries) in football.
In his countless travels around the world he discovered that the world has more than four corners and has also neighborhood. He discovered, also, that it is in the neighborhood of the world he can collect the adrenalin that peppers life.
He thinks to collect a lot in this travel along the sands, down Africa, side by side, where it is possible, the “circus” of the Lisbon – Dakar rally.
He thinks as possible to reach Lake Rose in Dakar – Senegal, but he knows he needs a lot of courage.

LUÍS GAMELAS
Painter, musician, sportsman, adventurer, companion of Victor in some “painful” travels along Europe.
Tireless traveler (now on bicycle) and nature lover, keeps memories of locals of idyllic landscapes, of smashing views, tangible only for the sacrificed given to the road.
Challenged by Victor, is going to begin one “life travel” adding “memorial posts” to his long list of memories.
Outsider of the Lisbon – Dakar “snake”, wants, however, side by side where it is possible, feel the bitterness of this African adventure.
At 58 thinks to have the guts and the strength to overpass this adventure.
